The Opportunity:
Summary:
Selencia Enterprise is seeking an IT Asset Management Specialist to join our team managing assets, inventory and providing recommendation for IT Asset Management industry best practice processes.
Responsibilities:
Collect, process, and analyze hardware asset data.
Review and ensure accuracy and completeness of asset information and room data.
Identify discrepancies and coordinate actions to rectify any data issues.
Room Audits Coordination:
Work with various departments to schedule and conduct audits of hardware assets in rooms.
Ensure accurate records during these audits and take necessary actions based on findings.
Asset Reporting:
Develop and maintain comprehensive inventories of hardware assets.
Monitor the status of assets and stock rooms, providing regular reports on progress and improvements.
Asset Disposal Management:
Manage decommissioning and disposal events for hardware assets.
Track asset lifecycles, recommending actions as necessary.
Use asset management software for effective tracking and documentation.
Prepare necessary documentation for asset disposal, particularly for sensitive assets.
You Have:
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Technology or a related field.
Proficiency in data analysis, especially using spreadsheets.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Familiarity with asset management software and tools.
Nice If You Have:
• Project implementation lifecycle experience (Requirements, Development, Training, Deployment)
• Experience with one or more Asset Management systems such as Cityworks, SAP, Maximo, Lucity, Infor, Cartegraph
• Experience with one or more permitting systems such as Cityworks PLL, Accela, CityView, EnerGov, TRAKiT
Clearance:
Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
